Live Signing Series Recap- Chris Bartlett, Misty Rosas, Doug Farrell, and Frank Ippolito!

On Friday March 19th, SWAU hosted its first-ever Live Signing Series, an event with four actors from the Mandalorian that featured an ongoing question-and-answer segment while four actors signed autographs for fans! We hosted Chris Bartlett (Q9-0, multiple droid roles, Imperial gunner, and more), Misty Rosas (Kuiil performance artist), Douglas Farrell (Offworld Jawa, also an Ewok in Return of the Jedi), and Frank Ippolito (Mon Calamari shipworker).

In the hour-long event, we learned about their experiences working for Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau; their first Star Wars memories; who has ever caused them to be starstruck; and dove into career work outside of The Mandalorian as well. Did you know that Frank Ippolito is a creature artist that also worked on the Sequel Trilogy? Or that Doug Farrell is a bodybuilder and a stuntman? The show was super insightful and we all had a blast participating.

We also saw the debut of our Artist Series cards, created by renowned Topps artist Candice Dailey! This series, which sold out in less than a half hour, features four sets of ten unique 1/1 sketch cards by Candice to be signed by the ladies of The Mandalorian. We started with Misty Rosas as Kuiil and Frog Lady, and we got to see them all signed! Check out below for how they turned out!
