Vanessa Kirby is an English actress who rose to international acclaim for her portrayal of Princess Margaret in the Netflix drama series The Crown (2016–2017), a performance that earned her the BAFTA Award for Best Supporting Actress. She further cemented her reputation with a powerful turn in Pieces of a Woman (2020), winning the Volpi Cup for Best Actress and receiving an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress.

Kirby began her professional career on the stage, delivering acclaimed performances in productions such as All My Sons (2010), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (2010), Women Beware Women (2011), Three Sisters (2012), and A Streetcar Named Desire (2014), in which she portrayed Stella Kowalski. Her film career has since expanded across both dramatic and action genres, with roles in Hobbs & Shaw (2019), the Mission: Impossible franchise (2018–2023), The Fantastic Four: First Steps (2025), and as Empress Joséphine in the historical epic Napoleon (2023).
