Signing Showcase: Burt Reynolds

SWAU participated in what turned out to be Burt Reynolds last autograph signing in August 2018, shortly before he passed away on September 6th. Reynolds first broke through when he starred in the television series Gunsmoke from 1962-1965. He later had leading roles in the blockbuster hits Deliverance, The Longest Yard, Smokey and the Bandit and The Cannonball Run. Reynolds was voted the world's number one box office star for five consecutive years (from 1978 to 1982), a record he shares with only Bing Crosby. Fans were able to send in their items to be signed in this memorable autograph signing, and many treasures were created that will be cherished in memory of Mr. Reynolds.
