Over one year ago, esteemed autograph collector and moderator of the SWAU team, Pete Bendu, established the Signature Series to look at the historic trends and changes of some of the most sought-after autographs in the Star Wars world.

With Mark Hamill recently talking about fake autographs on his Twitter account, coupled with the Christmas season bringing many interested parties looking to snag a signed item as a gift, we thought it would be appropriate to re-visit the Series and take another look at what makes each signature authentic, or in some cases, fake.
